Description: An Elector of Saxony (John Frederick I) kneels to the left of the cross and Martin Luther to the right. Likely designed by Lucas Cranach the Younger, this image was often used on the title pages of Luther's translation of the Bible (first in 1546) and of Luther's collected works.
