Description: A Canaanite woman asks Jesus to heal her daughter, who is afflicted by a demon. Jesus is at first reluctant, saying "It is not fair to take the children's food and throw it to the dogs." The woman responds, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Amazed at the woman's faith, Jesus heals her daughter.
