Description: This emblem depicts a langue rooster, lion, and wyvern atop a rock in the foreground and a distant city on a hill in the background. The lion is often paired with both real animals, such as the rooster, and mythical creatures, such as the dragon or wyvern, in biblical imagery and heraldry. The Latin phrase CANDORE TRIUMPHANS, which translates "bright triumph," is written across the title banner of the ornamental frame decorated with fruit and foliage. This emblem is one in a series of 46 published by Cardinal Celestino Sfondrati confirming the Immaculate Conception in nature.
