Description: An olive tree is growing out of the ground. The author compares the Virgin Mary to the olive tree by saying that, as a virgin, she remained fair, but gave birth so was also productive. A Latin inscription reads AB INFANTIA MEA CREUIT MECUM MISERATIO ET DE UTERO MATRIS MECE E GRESSA EST MECUM (“Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes”).
