Description: This engraving is the tenth of seventeen illustrating the dedication or consecration of a church. The bishop and other priests walk in a procession carrying a stone which contains relics. This stone will eventually be set into the altar and the bishop will consecrate it so that the sacrifice of the Mass may be offered.
