Description: Upon the opening of the fifth seal, angels give the saints under the altar white robes(top). Upon the opening of the sixth seal, a third of the sun, moon, and stars are destroyed (bottom). Includes the monogram of the woodcutter, Christoffel van Sichem II (1577-1658); his son, Christoffel van Sichem III (1618-1659), may have collaborated with him on these images, the monogram of Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), and an engraver’s knife at the base.
