Image Title: Virtue and Good Deeds

Description: Seven women, representing the seven virtues sit on a hilltop, around which fruit trees, flowers and a grape vine grow. Three men attempt to climb the hill to reach them, while a fourth tumbles to the bottom. The Latin superscription reads, "Virtues as well as works merit heaven," and the text below, "What good will be accomplished in Christendom? Set forth by a few. Every kind of pious work: sweetness and virtue.".
