Holiday Hours

The Pitts Library will be closed Friday through Sunday, July 3-5, for the Independence Day weekend.  The library will be open normal summer hours (7:30am – 5 pm) on Monday, July 6.

Special collection items featured in traveling exhibit

Pitts Theology Library contributed five volumes of the Antwerp Polyglot to “Scripture for the Eyes: Bible Illustration in Netherlandish Prints of the Sixteenth Century,” an exhibit now on display at the Museum of Biblical Art in New York City.  The exhibit will remain in New York through August 27 before traveling to Atlanta to be displayed at Emory University’s Carlos Museum from October 17, 2009 through January 24, 2010.   The New York Times recently published this description of the exhibit.   The Carlos Museum also provides a description of the upcoming exhibit.
