New content in Karl Barth Digital Library
The entire English translation of the Church Dogmatics is now available as part of the Karl Barth Digital Library, along with the original German version. Other English-language contents are available in the “Other Writings” category and include Barth’s thoughts on Calvin and Schleiermacher and a collection of letters between Barth and Bultmann. Additional German-language contents include the first 43 volumes of the Gesamtausgabe. To access this collection, type “Karl Barth Digital Library” in DiscoverE or Databases @ Emory.

New Additions to The Digital Karl Barth Library:
Volumes 37 through 43 of Karl Barth’s collected works in German are now available in the The Digital Karl Barth Library, available to Emory affiliates via Databases @Emory.
The digital Barth collection comprises 89 volumes and is approximately 95% complete. Contents in this release include:
- The English translation of Barth’s magnum opus, The Church Dogmatics, in its entirety
- The original German version, Die kirchliche Dogmatik
- The first 43 volumes of Barth’s Gesamtausgabe, which includes hundreds of letters, sermons, lectures, conversations, and academic writings
- English translations of thirteen important texts by Barth
