The following subdivisions are compiled from the Library of
Congress Subject Headings (shelved in the Technical Services
Office) and illustrate the kinds of extensions that can be
attached to "Bible. O.T." for a bibliographic search.
Familiarity with them and other subject headings may improve the
precision of searching on EUCLID (e.g., enter as a subject search:
bible. o.t. genesis) or other databases or in the card catalog.
