The records of the Board of Education of the North Georgia Annual Conference, presently known as the Committee on Education, consist of correspondence, minutes, financial records, and reports. The records are arranged in series according to subgroup or function of the sub-committees, and then chronologically within the subgroups. Dating from 1945 to 1979, the bulk of these records concern the administration of the committee and the training of Christian educators, including materials relating to the Atlanta Methodist Training School and the Southeastern Jurisdictional Leadership Development Center.
